This is for an original press photo for The Creature From the Black Lagoon. This is an original from the film's initial release in 1954 and not a later reprint or restrike. The film came out in the US on various dates in March of 1954. The backside of this has notes from a newspaper which read "Gill Man The Creature from Black Lagoon at (can't make out the theater name) 3D Wed 3/24" March 24th was a Wednesday in 1954. This was shown in 3D in larger theaters in it's initial release, so this was likely a larger theater. Photo is a great shot of The Creature. Some light discoloration from age, ...
