This listing is for a CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON IRON-ON made by Kaumagraph in 1964. The transfer sheet measures 8 x 10 inches with the artwork made of a thick iron-on material, almost like a painting. It is sealed and stapled to a rather large graphics card. The card measures 12 x 18 inches and is marked 1964 Universal Pictures. Condition is unused old store stock with an unusually nice backing card.   

   Kilgore was a noted comic book artist, animator, writer and film maker. He worked for Dell Publishing starting in the late 1940's and was responsible for the publishers magazine art department. Stored for decades loose, in a cardboard box with the rest of the collection by the original owner/builder, it has had some pieces come loose. Debated as to carefully clean it up from the dust, with a soapy water and reassemble the loose pieces, or list it as received. With the instructions from another kit, checked the pieces thoroughly.
