Creature from the Black Lagoon. [Luton]: Dragon Publications Limited, 1954. Bound in publisher's original blue boards with spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with boards slightly splayed, foxing and a small stain to the textblock edge, offsetting to endsheets. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with trivial wear, toning and light foxing; offsetting to the blindside. A fantastic copy of the novelization of the classic horror film bearing the same title.   

Creature From The Black Lagoon by Robot House of Japan. This windup powered Japanese tin monster measures about 9 in height. When wound, the Creature walks forward while the arms raise up and down. The head and "hands" are made of plastic. Taking these photos are the first time that I've removed the monster from its original box. It comes with its original key (in its sealed plastic bag), original cardboard packaging to hold the toy in place, its numbered sheet of authenticity and its colorful original box.    This is the Senior year high school yearbook which pictures actress Julie Adams. She has at least two good images, one being her posed Senior head photo (excellent) and the other being a shot of her in the cast for the school's Senior Play Arsenic and Old Lace. Of course she later went on to a long entertainment career (in fact, into her mid 80's) and was best known for the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
