Veny's 2013 Creature from the Black Lagoon Aquarium Ornament w/ Display Box. Here up for sale is a Veny's brand Creature from the Black Lagoon aquarium ornament made in 2013, with display box. This ornament has never been used, but the feet came loose from the ankles so were reglued in place. The glue will not stand up well to underwater use, so this figure is recommended for shelf use only. Creature stands about 5.25" long, with an overall height of 6.25" including the plastic base.
Overall height including the display box is 7.5. The creature was originally designed to bend at the waist when the small length of air hose provided is attached to your airline and air source. Then you would adjust the air pressure for best operation. Since this one should be bought as a collectible for ornamental shelf use and not inside an aquarium, you'll want to somehow fix the waist joint to keep the creature in an upright condition, since he will tend to bend over at the waist without some sort of support, such as a loop of twine provided as well as the factory clear loop twist tie, or something else left to your own devising.
The plastic creature comes with an attractive base and underwater type plastic vegetation. Also includes a cardboard display base and backer card.
Base shows some creasing, small tears, and wear on the bottom surface. Overall appearance is quite nice.
