ORIGINAL CULT CLASSIC Creature from the Black Lagoon (French 1962 Re-release) One sheet movie poster. This Original French Medium 23x32? Theatre Movie poster is from the 1962 Re-release of the 1954 cult classic, Creature from the Black Lagoon. Linen backed and was printed in France for French movie houses. This Jack Arnold Universal 3D picture starred Richard Carlson, Julie Adams, and Richard Denning, and it was directed by Jack Arnold from a screenplay by Harry Essex.

In the past, this poster has been mistaken for the original French release poster of 1954 (despite the art work on the two posters being very different). Not only is the art work different, but there are TWO additional clues to indicate this is from the French re-release in 1962. The second clue is that the printer of this poster, M. Landais, only started printing French movie posters in 1962. This poster is in very fine condition showing only minor iron oxide staining throughout that leaves a nice patina to the overall investment piece.

In addition, this poster has been linen backed and is ready for framing. A note about the size of the poster.
