The Creature cast you are purchasing was made from a'Land' version of the creature costume in the Haunted Studios collection.
The'Land' versions had more detail, but were considerably heavier and much more difficult to move about in. Produced by Studio 303 of Hollywood, was created and produced in a strictly limited edition. All of the detail from the original is reproduced here in your authentic casting.
After this production run, the mould that created your creature was destroyed. As evidenced by the Seal Of Authenticity, you are herewith officially registered as the owner of this Creature Cast, available exclusively from The Haunted Studios. This Studio 303 casting is an EXACT copy of the Haunted Studios original, all defects as well as details in the original are reproduced. Close examination will show that the Creature is truly'hand crafted' and completely faithful to the original. This is a very rare life size bust of the original Creature From The Black Lagoon.
This HUGE cast was made from a surviving high detail prop in The Haunted Studios collection for many years. What you see is the actual Creature, life size, with every detail, just as it was the day the film was made.
In 2000 their life masks officially became Museum Quality, selected exclusively by Seattle's Pacific Science Centre Museum for it's exhibit on 3D art. Masks from their collection have been used in numerous motion picture and television productions worldwide. This HUGE prop cast is a full size casting of the front 3/4 of the Creature's upper body. Approximately 20" high x 14" wide x 6 deep. Each cast is from a Limited Edition and is numbered with a Sealed C. And Ownership Registration from the Haunted Studios. Mask is cast in UltraStone (their exclusive blend of white cement and USG casting plaster) with a sturdy wire hanger on the back for secure wall mounting. Finished with their exclusive 5 colour coat process by a retired prop builder with over 50 years experience, their original system is often imitated, but never duplicated. Each mask is sealed, multistage painted, then sealed again to last a lifetime. Each Life Mask from The Haunted Studios is a unique, single and original work of fine art, not to be confused with mass produced imitations. They have been collecting and trading life masks since 1963, and have satisfied customers around the world. Their life masks are on display in Museums, Motion Picture, Television and Radio Studios around the world.
Comes with the original Certificate Of Authenticity with gold seal on a parchment type paper with registration details on the reverse (see photographs 10 & 11). As the moulds were destroyed after this Limited Edition no more will become available for sale. The bust comes with an integral heavy duty wire hanger on the back (see photograph 8, which also shows'Vito 2001' signed in the plaster) or can be stood on the base.
