This is the Original (1sh) 1954 Lobby Card No. 2 from the CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. It has the Number "2" near the bottom right area, indicating it is the Number 2 Lobby Card of this 8-Card set. The entire original Lobby Card set can be found in the book "They're Already Here", Page 68, written by James A. This Lobby Card was used by.

To promote this movie when it was released in 1954. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Richard Carlson, Julie Adams, Richard Dennis , Antonio Moreno, Nestor Paiva, and Whit Bissell. It was directed by Jack Arnold. This unrestored movie Lobby Card measures 11" x 14". It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing.

This original movie Lobby Card is graded C8, Very Fine. Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. The Lobby Card has a very presentable appearance and is immediately ready to be framed and displayed with excellent results. Most of the minor flaws occur along the borders and the few that intrude just a little (1/8 or so) in the image area are somewhat difficult to see unless under bright light and close inspection. Restoration could alleviate all of these flaws.
