The creature is towering over the proverbial damsel in distress. This masterpiece has been called a holy grail item by some fans I showed it to. Unfortunately the type of art board it was created on became briddle and cracked. The even cooler part of this piece is it was signed by the artist Norbert F.
Novotny and has written on the back of the cavnas, Forrest J Ackerman to (the Filmonster) from Norbert F Novotny in Brazil 1970. The front of the oil painting shows Norbert F Novotny Brazil 1968 at the bottom, This belonged to my brother Bob, who was a well known collector/dealer in the St. Louis, Missouri area from the 70's-2017 when he passed away. I don't know the history or how exactly he came into possession of this piece. However, this is extremely unique and would be a welcomed addition for the collector of vintage hard to find grail type art. It's time to get this in the hands of a vintage horror fan.
